Matilda got her 8th stamp in her passport this month! She has been on an airplane 24 times total. This year, she got her own seat on the plane and thus was eligible to add miles to her own frequent flyer account!

Overall, we had a great time in Spain. Matilda and her grandparents came along on a business trip to Roa which was a 6 hour drive from Barcelona. She behaved really well and loved spending time alone with her abuelito and abuelita!

When Pablo’s parents were here we took the kids to Central Park. We took pics of Matilda in front of the same cherry blossoms that she posed in front of last year.

Matilda stayed at pre-school today for lunch bunch. It’s when you bring a bag lunch to school and eat it with your classmates. Matilda must have had lunch with her friend Samantha. Because she kept saying her name.

Matilda made poop in the potty today. Woo!

Vote for Obama!

In an effort to get Matilda out of the house on cold days I decided to try signing her up for Gymboree. She hated it!

Any ideas?

At long last, its time for the NYC Marathon. Mark your calendars for Nov 2!

We toured a pre-school today with Matilda and she loved it. She starts on Thursday! My little girl is growing up!

Matilda is learning how to say her ABCs. I don’t even know where she learned it from because we were not actively teaching her. I think she might have learned it from Elmo. Anyway, we noticed that she was singing a song to herself and each word was a short syllable, like a letter. Then we finally figured out that she was trying to sing the ABC song. We’ve been singing it to her non-stop now and she can say A – B – C – D – E and then blah blah. Its really fun. I tried shooting video of it a million times, but she has figured out that the digital camera is a fun thing to play with and she stop singing the moment she sees the camera! I will keep trying!
