Matilda’s Words
Matilda has been babbling in what sounds like German mixed with Mandarin for a while now, but she is finally developing a vocabulary.
In addition to Mama, and Papa, she can say (this is in order of when she started saying them) hot, bye, hola, agua, baby, si, shin (korean for shoe), no, elmo and cheese. Its clear that she can understand English, Spanish and Korean with no problem, but speaking those languages is another story! She also enjoys says uh-oh, when something falls on the ground.

Matilda LOVES dogs. She points out every dog on the street she sees and even loves dog toys. Clarissa and Manny invited us to their house and Matilda got to really interact with their dog Leo. Leo is used to being abused by Manuel, who is 2 months younger than Matilda.
